From the moment I walked into Dr. Yan’s clinic, I felt genuinely welcomed, understood, and cared for by both her and her assistant, Kolina. The environment her and her husband have created at their optometry clinic is so comforting and supportive, especially for someone dealing with the overwhelming effects of a concussion. Explaining my symptoms to Dr. Yan was honestly healing in itself. She was able to completely resonate with and identify the problems I’ve been experiencing in a way that no one else has since my accident. This is one of the first times someone truly understood what I was trying to explain. She took the time to listen carefully, explain everything thoroughly, and create a plan tailored specifically to helping correct my symptoms. In only two appointments, I have already identified and started correcting more concussion-related issues than I have in almost an entire year of living with post-concussion symptoms. That alone speaks volumes about her knowledge, care, and approach to treatment. I cannot recommend this clinic enough to anyone struggling with a concussion or visual symptoms related to one. Dr. Yan, Kolina, and the entire clinic made me feel hopeful again, which is something I truly hadn’t felt in a long time.

We were referred to Dr. Liang by our naturopathic doctor, and she truly exceeded our expectations. Dr. Liang is extremely knowledgeable and conducts very thorough eye examinations. The staff are also very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made every visit a positive experience. My husband had been dealing with his condition for over five years without clear answers from our previous optometrist. Under Dr. Liang’s care, everything changed. Her comprehensive approach, including vision therapy, along with guidance on supplements and nutrition has significantly improved his quality of life. Thanks to her, my husband is now able to swim again after years of struggling with dizziness. We are incredibly grateful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a more in-depth and holistic approach to eye care.

When the Opthamologists at both Sunnybrook and Mt Sinai told me there is nothing they can do for my distorted vision, I was devasted.
