We accept most major vision and health insurance plans and guide you through the process so your care feels stress-free.

Warden Optometry accepts most major insurance company plans, as well as coverage for international students and university student health plans. We can also help you apply to HCAI for accident benefits for those who have suffered motor vehicle accidents.
Our team is happy to help you understand your benefits, check what’s covered, and explain how to submit claims for reimbursement. Because every plan is different, we encourage patients to contact our office for personalized guidance about their specific coverage and payment options.
Eye exam coverage in Ontario can feel complicated. Here’s what families in Markham should know:
Children 19 and under: Annual comprehensive eye exams are covered by OHIP.
Seniors 65+: Annual exams are also covered by OHIP.
Adults 20–64: Exams are not covered by OHIP, but are often included in private or employer-provided extended health plans.
Medical conditions: OHIP may cover exams for patients with diabetes, glaucoma, or other specified conditions.
Concussion/rehab services: In some cases, HCAI (Health Claims for Auto Insurance) may apply.
Contact us, and our team will guide you through OHIP rules, extended health benefits, and how to self-submit for reimbursement.
