There is also a migraine aura. It affects people with some visual disturbances during a migraine. It can last 30 minutes. Some people may getting ziggy lines, flashing lights, and strange images. Some people may also have numbness sensation in their body, a change of smell or taste or a brain fog.
The cause is quite complex. It is more common after a whiplash, concussion, neuro-inflammation or long COVID. Some may have it due to binocular vision problems, eyestrain, prolonged periods of stress, bright lights, loud noises, alcohol intake, caffeine, artifical sweeteners, gluten, casein protein, genetic pre-dispositions, hormonal changes.
If you have brain fog and food sensitivies, sound or light sensitivities, or any of the above, we can help.
As neuro-optometrist, We at Warden Optometry can help you uncover the trigger and release you from migraines. Some would include lifestyle changes, brain-based lenses, syntonic light therapy and food couselling.
