What is post trauma vision syndrome?
It refers to a series of changes after neurotrauma that leads to blurred vision at distance or near, sensitivity to motion, difficulty with eye moveents, eye pain and headaches, dizziness and balance problems, sensitivity to light and inability to tolerate glare, blurry vision, binocular vision problems such as double vision, convergence insufficiency, and depth perception problems, and peripheral vision problems.
What are those neuro truma that can cause post trauma vision syndrome?
It includes whiplash, concussion, ischemia such as stroke, near drowning experience, motor vehicle accident, long COVID, sports related head or neck injury, and mild traumatic brain injuries.
It's more common in Toronto and Markham area to see those MVA, falls and sports injury.
